Frequently Asked Questions

You will need a one day Oregon fishing license. The one day fishing license includes the combined angling tag. You will need to add the $1 Columbia River endorsement. If you buy an Annual Oregon fishing license, and we are fishing for salmon, steelhead or sturgeon you will need to purchase a combined angling tag separately as well as an annual Columbia River endorsement. You can get that here.

If you are a Washington resident, you can use your annual Washington fishing license and Washington annual combined angling tag to fish the Columbia River. you can get that here.

You will want to bring whatever you want to eat and drink in a small handheld cooler or backpack. You will aslo want to have a cooler ready to take home your catch of the day.

You will want to bring rain gear even if it doesn’t look like it is going to rain. It is better to be safe than sorry.
You should dress in layers. Start with shorts and a t-shirt and layer over that with pants and long sleeve shirts, hoodies, or fleece tops and vests. You can always take layers off if the weather is nice. Bring a dry bag if you have one to bring extra layers or to hold extra layers you take off throughout the day.

I provide top of the line Shimano reels and G.Loomis rods. As well as the tackle and bait we will be using throughout the day.

I have sunscreen on board just in case you forget yours.
I will provide each angler (fisherman) with the best Mustang floatation devices on the market. No need to bring your own.
